Kickstarter campaign - SlapSee

The team at SlapSee came to us halfway through their Kickstarter campaign with an urgent challenge for their new product. Their goal was to raise $50,000 to start producing a new range of polarised, slap-on sunglasses, but two weeks into the campaign, and with almost $25,000 pledged, interest had started to wane.

When SlapSee approached us with their Kickstarter challenge, we immediately set to work. Harnessing our connections with nationwide lifestyle and business reporters, we got the campaign some much needed publicity. Along with helping the new glasses and its kiwi owner get extensive media coverage, we also ramped up SlapSee’s social media activity and substantially increased engagement with the SlapSee Facebook page. Our work led to the campaign picking up speed in its final few days and exceeding the $50,000 target.

“I must say one of the best things that has come out of this campaign has been meeting you guys! You are professional, approachable and bloody good at your job.”

Ashleigh Ogilvie-Lee - CEO and founder, SlapSee
